What it’s like to work with FinlandWay?

At FinlandWay®, we’re a team of educators, creators and explorers based in Finland, the UK and the UAE, all united by one purpose: bringing world-class early education to children everywhere.

We work across borders and time zones in a flexible, hybrid setup. Everyone manages their own time and tasks, and we trust each other to deliver. We keep our communication open and supportive, encourage fresh ideas, and celebrate results. There’s always room to grow—and to do things really well.

Our core values, quality, empowerment, joy of learning and accountability, show up in everyday work. They guide our everyday work, whether we’re designing playful new learning materials, training our partners, or helping a new school get started. We’re curious, hands-on, and deeply committed.

What does a typical week look like for a pedagogical expert?

No two weeks look exactly the same, but the role usually balances two big focus areas: creating our product and supporting our schools.

On the development side, that could mean crafting or refining learning materials, reviewing training content, doing research, and joining planning sessions. On the support side, our experts stay closely connected with partner schools: answering questions, reviewing pedagogical goals, and delivering training.

And yes, travel is part of the adventure. Our experts often visit schools for launches, audits, and hands-on training. Trips usually last from one to three weeks, and they’re some of the most rewarding parts of the job.

Why work with us?

Let our team members tell, what is the best about working with FinlandWay®:

I love how FinlandWay gives us the space to be creative, work as a team, learn from each other, and grow. Everyone here is friendly and truly works as a team, giving you both autonomy and flexibility while also providing support when you need it. It’s especially inspiring to work with such a talented global team of empowered women in a company that encourages collaboration, teamwork, and making a real difference in children’s lives around the world.

“What I enjoy most about working at FinlandWay is the variety in my days. I get to shape our pedagogy while also providing operational support and guidance. One day, I might be focusing on our partner in Morocco, and the next on our flagship in London. This diversity keeps every day exciting and offers me new opportunities to grow as an early childhood education professional.”

“For me, the best thing about FinlandWay® is the forward-looking and open atmosphere that encourages bringing up ideas and developing them further. Flexibility on working hours and location is very important for me; I couldn’t imagine going back to a 9-to-5 office-based job. We are truly international and focus on things that we share with our partner schools, and how we work together, rather than imposing something that doesn’t fit their culture.”
